Emily Schulman

Emily Schulman , born August 17, 1977, is a former child star best known for her role as Harriet Brindle on the mid-late 1980s syndicated sitcom, Small Wonder. Harriet was the annoying neighbor of Jamie Lawson (played by fellow washed-up celebrity Jerry Supiran).

Harriet was one of the most annoying characters in television history. She was the "Screech" of Small Wonder, never saying anything funny and just serving to annoy everyone. (Harriet even wore Converse high-tops, just like Screech!) Her annoyingness notwithstanding, I will admit that some funny moments did occur when she would come to Jamie's kitchen door to see him and then he would slam the door right in her face.

Schulman somehow managed to land some other decent roles after the 1988 cancellation of Small Wonder, usually as an annoying little girl. She had roles in the motion picture Troop Beverly Hills, and small roles on TV shows such as ALF, The Wonder Years, and an ABC Afterschool Special. In 1995 she landed a major role in the drama Christy. (I have to admit I had never ever heard of Christy until I looked at Schulman's IMDB bio, although it must have been a fairly sucessful show.)

Schulman has not landed any roles since the cancellation of Christy. When acting roles dried up, Schulman became a theatrical agent and current works for the ACME Talent Agency in Los Angeles.

Schulman was never a cute kid on Small Wonder and the 19 years since the show was cancelled have not been kind, as Father Time has been giving her a good ass kicking. She did, however, marry a guy named Derek Webster a few years ago. Here is a picture from her wedding:

It's probably a good thing that she switched from acting to being an agent, because she easily looks a good 10 years older than her actual age of 29 and kind of resembles a witch in the picture on the lower right-hand side.

For the reasons discussed above, Emily Schulman is one washed-up celebrity!

Are you sure she is only 29?

In that last photo, where she is holding the little girl, she looks like an 1147 year old witch who probably will have the girl for dinner.

What a sad collection of discontented and ugly little people have descended upon this page. i suppose it's all you could expect from a website devoted to qualifying the later pursuits of industry professionals that likely saw more succes in their lives, however fleeting that succes might have been, than the website designer and his/her hungry pack of vulturous ever have any hope or asperation for. as for Emily Schulman: she's happily married with one beautiful child, another on the way and more grace and beauty in a thrown off look than anyone that would disparage her so blindly and maliciously will ever earn. forget the fact that she's one of the most succesful commerical agents in Los Angeles, that she has a impressive resume from one side of the camera to the other that spans the 26 years from her first commercial to today.

Hers is a true and lasting beauty that touches everyone lucky enough to come in contact with her (again, a blessing this website of hyenas will likely never be lucky enough to celebrate) from her family, to her friends, to her clients and even the strangers she meets.
She’s a stalwart professional that has found great success in everything she has ever attempted (not even limited to making a substantial living as an actress while many of us – must I point back to the cretins that populate this site – were too busy getting dressed by our parents). She’s a loving wife, who adds warmth, hope and sanity to her husband every day. She’s a phenomenal mother that devotes herself to her daughter, even despite the crushing commitment of her profession. In short she’s easily the most amazing human being I’ve ever met.
Perhaps that’s why I married her. Because I wasn’t so afraid as to snatch at beauty from the murk and sadness of my own limitations or to try and destroy it from the safe distance of my own despair. I was lucky enough to meet Emily, to fall in love with her; every facet of her. And even luckier, I thank God at least three times a day, I was able to be loved in return. Miraculous.
You see, I know how rare such love is. I see it’s rarity proven in just the sort of people that hurl their ugliness into the shadowy iniquity that plagues their every action and thought. There’s enough of it splashed across this website to give even the most optimistic of us pause. I can only believe such ugliness knows not where it comes from or what sort of pain it might be capable of inflicting. I can only hope the people that have sufficiently embarrassed themselves already are really much better people than these few nasty products they have left behind would suggest. I, and my wife, will choose not to go so far in our blind judgment of these peoples worth. Even in my reserved anger, I will not fall so low as to stand next to their soulless, baseless, ranting. I don’t know who they are. I haven’t met them. Beyond any of my assumptions (however justified in response to their own impropriety) I refuse to damn them beyond reservation. There’s always hope that ignorance can be tempered. That even a soul grinding darkness can find its healing partner.
The woman that was once Emily Schulman, my wife, has taught me that. I can only hope we all end up so “washed up”. With that much beauty shared… the world would certainly be a much better place.

Sincerely,

Derek Webster

What a poor, poor excuse for a blog. I have had the honor and privilege of both knowing and working with the said “Washed Up Celebrity”, and I can honestly say that both Emily and Derek are 2 of the most amazing people this world could ever offer. Have you or any of your commenting hypocrites ever met either of them? You couldn’t be so lucky!

Here’s the sad part of this: I’m sure that if the creators/commenting idiots of this poor, degrading blogspot had the common decency to apologize for commenting on people they didn’t know, Emily and Derek would probably forgive them and have them over for dinner. I’m not that forgiving. I’m the proof that these victims of your poor use of time are 2 of the most amazing people I have ever met.

Washed Up Celebrities?
A blog focused on washed up celebrities desperately trying to stay in the public eye long after their time in the limelight has passed.

I vote we rename this site to:

Losers with no life…
A blog dedicated to and created by losers sitting on the couch an making nothing for themselves, with nothing better to do but sit at home and blast someone they don’t even know.

Get a life people, get out of the house and actually do something!

Making fun of someone is not only tacky, but childish. Emily was a very talented actress and I am happy to say that i am still a fan of hers at 30! Beauty is different to different people, this is a woman of natural beauty. The saddest part of all this is that you people should be jealous of this woman, because after all she has one thing that 80 percents of people do not have, someone who loves her unconditionally and stands up for her! You people do not know her personally...yet you drag her name through the mud. Great work guys, stooping to this kindergarten crap. Not to mention that adorable little girl that Emily brought into this world...who is just beautiful. Now you tell me how a woman whom you claim is unattractive achieved these things?
Yep thats what i thought.

Anonymous said...

You people are a sorry bunch of losers that can only find happiness in your own life by thinking up ugly things to say about others. How about you post your photo and let all of us have a little fun with it? Have you maybe stopped to think that some of the people that you take so much time calling “washed up” chose not to act?

Emily is one of those people that chose not to be an actress. She is beautiful inside and out and I am proud to call her a friend.

Maybe you all should find something more admirable to do with your time.

I have no idea what the fuck this website is about.. what is "washed up"? Perhaps you should stop pointing the finger outward and turn it back to yourself. Let's start putting some positive energy out there, you guys! Come on. I'm not going to let you make this personal- I looked at the names on the right side and these people are all great- and not washed up. Get over yourselves. I happen to love Emily and am blessed that she is exactly where she is today. She helps others all day long- what do you do?

Anonymous said...

Your just mad because you never had or will have any success in your own lives.

That's a great and insightful comment. Should we presume that you are "mad" yourself because you apparently don't know the difference between the possessive "your" and the contraction "you're"?

I also think it is ironic that so many people have written about the "losers" posting here and how anyone who posts here must not have a life. Well if that's true, what does that make you people for posting your long rambling comments here?

I am a fan of this blog and think it is hilarious. This is clearly a gossip/comedy blog focused on former celebrities whose careers are washed up. Schulman may be a good person, but her acting career is washed up, regardless of whether you choose to admit so.

P.S. Edgewater, let us all know when your crappy movie gets made.

rebyosh said...

As one of Emily's rabbis I can personally testify that most of the "info" in this "bio" is simply rubbish. She was and still is very successful and respected in the entertainment industry. I am not sure where the authors get their "info." But "washed up" hardly has or will ever describe Emily.

If you only had one clue to who Emily really is as a person you would be ashamed of yourself. Get a life and stop being so concerned with others' lives

A bemused Jesus once sat aside while cruelties were slung about concerning celebrities who no longer sat in the limelight.

When he saw the individuals who made these accusations, his words to them were: "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in another's eye, yet pay no attention to the plank that is covering your own? For the measure you use, will be measured to you."

Cazzey said...

In another occasion, Jesus watched in awe as angry individuals dragged a red-headed actress to be stoned and prosecuted on a blog site. When he saw this, he asked what crimes and sins the woman was guilty of.

"She was better looking when she was younger!" One of the mob shouted.

"Yeah! Time has aged her!" Another chimed in.

"She used to be a cute kid! But now she's just an adult who has to work for a living! Don't you think she deserves persecution?"

Jesus looked at them and said, "Anyone here who is without such sin, let them be the first to cast a stone."

No wonder this guy has the butthurt. Look at the woman he married!! I may be a gay man, but I know the ugly when I see it and I see it in your wife. I'm sorry it is the truth, you may love her but that cannot be helped, like I can't help being a raging gay. I resent you accusing me of not having the success your wife has had. I will have you know that I'm a pretty big deal in the world of homosexual entertainment and have fans in such far flung places as Japan and Papua New Guinea (Believe it or not they love the man meat out there!). In short, you should GET OFF THE INTERNET and take care of your wife and spawn of Satan, oh yeah, she didn't let you in on that one! You're kid is actually the spawn of Michael Oliver Ponce!!!

Edgewater, if you require a well endowed GAY man for your production give me a call, I'm incredibly cheap.

Person who said that all the people profiled on this site are great, please tell me how a fucking paedophile like Jeffrey Jones can be in anyway considered "great". Why would anyone give a shit about the opinion of someone who is sympathetic to a pervert? GET OFF THE INTERNETS!

In closing, I'm better than this Lord of the Rings bride, her husband and everyone who posted here in support of her. I'm successful, good looking and hung like a mule! I have SEX all the time with men you would only dream about. Case closed. We the jury find in favour of JewveBeenFramed and award him one million dollars!!!

Emily is anything but washed up. She chose to stop pursuing acting roles for herself when she became 18, and has found tremendous success in the world of agenting. With hundreds of loyal clients and co-workers who love her, and a wonderful family of her own, she is one of the most respectable, well adjusted, and happy people you could ever meet.

Derek,

Is that a scrungie holding your ponytail in the wedding photo? Do you have a fetish for garbage from the 80s like scrungies and that's why you married your fat, washed-up, former child star wife? Probably not actually, looking at your picture, one can only conclude the only reason you would marry any woman is because it was all you could get. Did you ever pay any homeless dudes to perform sexual acts on you before you met your obese hog of a wife out of desparation? Did you ever beg them to grab the back of your ponytail and ram their diseased homeless dicks through your ginger lips and into your throat? Get back to me fast.

I personally love this blog and see absolutely no harm in it at all. These people are washed up celebrities and the person who created the blog is providing a biography of their careers. No one would have a problem if this was a "where are they now" blog, but in essence that is the same thing. If you need to know where someone is then it's obvious they are no longer acting and are "washed up." It certainly doesn't help Emily that she played an annoying character on one of the worst television shows of all times! Keep up the good work washed up blogger!

I'm actually a little relieved to see the unchecked hatred and perversion creep out of the woodwork of this infested little site. I was actually going to write another thoughtful and lengthy letter in attempt to help Kurt Stein and his buddies realize how soul empty their pursuits really are. But clearly any kind of dialogue in the direction of this site is an utter lack of time. Happily, I can now wash my hands of some of the ugliest wastes of humanity I've ever brushed past on my way to more worthy pursuits.

Sincerely,

Wow, this little update sure is on FIRE!

Joshua, I've been meaning to ask an LA Rabbi this for some time, especially a highly intellectual one such as yourself. Do you think the things I do are against our religion? Does being a raging homosexual that cannot stop thinking about and doing gay sex condemn me? Please get back ASAP. Also, do you think Japanese people have souls? I don't think they do, personally.

Derek Webster, I don't see how you could have expected any other response from the dedicated fans of this board, did you not read the other entries? I demand that you do. I think that people like you should stick to Myspace and Youtube and disney.com, the rest of the internets is the WILD WEST where lulz cows are milked of their lulz without warning (protip: You are a lulz cow). In short, my heart is darker than the abyss but I'm happy making love to a superabundant number of muscle bound garbage men. I'm never more at peace than with a greasy mans balls resting on my chin. God bless. I admire a man who defends his family no matter how misplaced.

Derek, for someone who went to Yale your English stinks. What is an "utter lack of time"? "Soul empty"? Don't think so Derek. We certainly are not salivating over this site, it is a mere side project. Until today we haven't paid it much mind. I for one haven't written more then 10 comments in here. You have taken something harmless and mundane and turned it into something interesting. Had you merely ignored this small site none of us would have looked at this page today. Thanks for making my day a bit more interesting! Also, don't you think it's a bit hypocritical to whine about people writing about your craptastic wife and at the same time call us, "tortured souls" and "wastes of humanity"? You certainly don't know any of us. Just because I enjoy dropping trough and having hot manlove with random dudes at truck stops certainly doesn't make me a tortured soul!

Is this wrong? Please understand that Tijuana donkey shows, although entertaining, are not considered by IMDB for one's resume!

On another topic, I didn't realize the jewish faith had begun letting Gingers into their synagogues. When did that start? I am quite sure that as recently as 1987 Gingers were scorned by Jews and it was quite common to throw rocks and firecrackers at them! Please correct me if I am wrong.

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0776078/board/nest/82460953?d=82570491#82570491

"Just wanted to post the "next morning" common sense that occured to me after being forced to witness just how dark and misguided some people choose to be. Here is the follow up post that I hope puts an end to this humorous (it's only tragic if you're involved in that detestable site!) chapter of my family's blessed life. If nothing else it put how lucky we truly are into its proper perspective:

Friends,

Please don't waste your time visiting the website I referenced in a previous bulletin to you. I was naive to think that offering the reasonable appeal of common decency to the repulsive individual involved in defaming my wife would have any meaningful effect. One likes to think more highly of humanity than some of its individual members deserve.

For those of you who have already visited that sad little website, I apologize to anyone justifiably offended by the crude, hateful and utterly ridiculous bits of insanity splashed around for the simple sake of lonely and desperate people looking for something warmer than themselves to latch onto. We should none of us be subjected to such ugliness unprepared. I had no idea how dark and depraved that place would get and so quickly after the vermin sensed a light shining down from above. Unfortunately, light is wasted on those willing to gouge out their own eyes.

The internet is filled with these sorts and, I suppose, I've been forced to learn the hard way that giving them any sort of attention (even of the well meaning kind) can only feed their sickness. Best to let them scurry about in their self imposed prisons and count our blessings that leaving such mental hovels remains within our power.

Thank you all for your kind thoughts and well received support.

Much love,

Derek Webster
lucky husband of Emily "

I think the picture on the lower left is rather pretty, actually. I hope she doesn't waste time giving a rat's ass over what a lot of jerks think of her. At least she's doing something with her life, and that's more than can be said for beautiful "success" stories like Lindsay Lohan or Britney Spears. I'd say this girl won the lottery - she knows what a load of crap celebrity is, and now she has a career she can enjoy and still have a life with her lovely family.

And the rest of you who sit around saying cruel things about her or anyone else - I'll bet you're no prize yourself. Grow up.

Some people need to get their eyes checked. There is nothing wrong with her. Must be some really sad, lonely people who have nothing better to do than insult people they don't even know. She'll probably look better on her worst day than these insulters will look on their best.

She has a happy marriage, kids, a good career, and a childhood starring on TV, that got her a lot of money and fans.

You are just jealous you're so broke you have to blog on a free "blogger" blog to insult ppl.

I will proablly regret posting here, but here goes. First off, this site is offensive and makes me ill. A lot of former child stars struggle just as much as anyone else. We deal with all the things you guys have gone through but also realise that the stardom is gone.

The comments about Emily are untrue. She is a beautiful woman and Derek is a proud husband and father. When I first met Emily, I was scared as my parents had pushed me into acting. She was there as a confident and friend. Without her I would not have made it. We have always kept in touch and remained close. She was the first girl I kissed and has grown into a beautiful woman. The comments about her breast and her being a whore are repulsive.

If you want to make fun of someone then by all means direct it to me.These comments by so called cousins are false as any relative of mine would not contact me via this site.

I would love to interact with any fans as long as the discussion is mature and relevant.

The only thing I hated about Emily were her bangs. LOL! I bet she wasn't too happy with them either. But that's ok, as I had mile-high bangs myself in the late 80s. Oh yea.

I think Emily has a very old fashioned beauty that is wasted on this plastic society. Her look is classic and timeless.

But honestly, I don't care how someone looks. If you're an ass, I don't care if you look like Brad Pitt.

I loved this show, I hated Harriet (hahaha) but that was the CHARACTER. Not the actress.

Grow up, people. Go hug your babies...or spouses...or whoever you love. Life is good.

I think some ppl are taking this website way too seriously. U really shouldn't put the effort into blasting this website or all the negative comments on this website, or defending these celebrities- think about it, it really isn't worth ur time. Just don't come to this website or look at something else, simple as that.

This website, webmaster, and content has a certain kind of "snidy, negative" tone to its' material. With the subject matter as it is and the type of trash talking that goes on--- really, u really should not take this website seriously, get mad, or get defensive. This is just the type of website it is. ppl's egos are flying out the window; defending these celebrities, criticizing the rude ppl on this board. Really, stop taking all this so seriously. This is the kind of attention this website is gonna attract.

Unfortunately, when you are/were in entertainment, everything that gets written/said about you isn't going to be pretty. That comes with the territory of being or having been in the public eye. I do agree a lot of the comments are mean, rude, superficial, but that's the type of attention this site will attract. Some of the material is funny. Some of the comments are too much "ego tripping." just relax. It's not the best reflection of human nature to put up a website and start poking fun of ppl, but it is what it is. When the webmaster said these celebrities are washed up, he mostly means their acting (singing, stand up, or whatever) career as a big time celebrity as they used to be, and how they're not as big now in that direct comparison, not how they are
as a person. Attacking a person's character isn't the nicest thing to do, but this website is what it is. You can ask the webmaster to take it down, but that's unlikely. And in the meantime, pre-pubescent boys will continue to post inane stuff on here. So chill out. Just don't come to this site. From time to time I like to see what my old stars are up to, and some of the stuff on here is funny. But, u know when u came to this site, it was intentionally done in bad taste. What can I say. I'm not sure it's worth the effort to come to the defense of these stars or badmouth the comments or the site. But it guess it gives a more rounded viewpoint and everyone has a right to say what they wish.

I just think it's a liitle dumb when ppl say the webmaster has nothing better to do than this or that he's a loser or that all the ppl posting negative stuff are all losers and that these washed up stars really have accomplished a lot in their lives than any of you, etc etc. I'm constantly reading that. I say just relax. That's like going to a porn site and preaching to everyone that they should put their clothes back on. I mean c'mon, really now. When u create shit, ur going to attract shit, as this website has, it comes w the territory, just like being a has been celebrity comes with the unfortunately territory of ppl talking shit about u. I agree all of this isn't nice. A lot of this stuff is superficial and immature, what do u expect from this website? Like expecting quality news from national inquirer? It just isn't going to happen, so u just have to turn away and flip a different channel, and hope all these immature embeciles are decent somehow and they will mature. Heh. I don't post disgusting things on here but I read some stuff on here. Oh well happy trails to everyone.

firstly Harriet- let me tell u that u were this annoying little thing on small wounder who everyone loved to hate and everyone did! and that proves that Emily you are a wonderful actress. the fact that all these people think you were annoying and ugly , only means that you played the role of Harriet so exceptionally well, that they forgot Emily the person and associate you with Harriet the irritating neighbor. And i would like to congratulate you on that success.
I want to say that i loved watching your show and i remember coming home from school and laughing at your little tricks to get Jamie.
I am so happy to see the way your husband defended you here. You are such a lucky women.I wish someday to be as lucky in love and career as you are.And Harriett thanks for making leaving such a lasting impression on me that I goggled for your name almost 20 yrs after i last watched small wounder! you rock girl!

I remember seeing you on small wonder a long time ago when I was small myself and let me tell you I had the biggest crush on you than ever. Just seeing your cute smile on that show brought back some precious memories. I have always wondered about what happened later on in life. Now I know you married a great guy. I'm glad you found the man of your dreams. After reading his message it touched me because i can relate to it you see I myself know how rare love is like that. I can only hope and pray that I can find that kinda special love from the woman I want to be with one day. Even though we haven't met emily I have always cherished and admired you. You have always been my dreamgirl and i hope you have a happy and loving marriage.

I was not expecting to be NEARLY so entertained when thinking about Small Wonder and where those young ladies on the show ended up.

Although it was totally pointless, I admire the chivalry demonstrated by Emily's husband. She obviously has a lot of people around her who love her and who wouldn't want that.

Also I think it's weird that so many people dislike red-heads. They are usually awesome lovers...and man is her hair ever gorgeous! I have no idea why anyone thinks she's fat either...that's kinda scary. I guess people are looking at too many pictures of Nicole Richie or something to know what a healthy trim woman actually looks like. That's the saddest part of this whole damn page.

Long live Emily! She has turned into a beautiful mother and wife by the looks of these photos. Her part on Small Wonder made my childhood memorable. She will always be a part of the good old days of my youth, regardless of the immature comments that people post about her being washed up. She is human and deservant of more than this.

Anonymous said...

Yup. I'm just a random passerby but I think she looks pretty good, very good looking in fact, rather like Alyson Harrigan if you want a comparison. The fact that many of her friends and family have sprung to her defence here seems to show that she is not just liked but well-liked. Good for her.

When I first caught a glimpse of the second pic here I was trying to remember the "Christy" episode that had Ruby Mae marrying a hillbilly homosexual. After I noticed the glasses on the satanist performing what appears to be the joining of an unholy union it dawned on me that this is what these people actually look like now! Webster is too funny with his responses. On another website Webster says that he and Schulman "fell in love while working late hours at Acme Talent and Literary". He tries to make it sound sweet, in his effeminate and flowery language usage, but fails to mention the fact that Emily was married to someone else at the time. What's that? Emily was married before? Does Webster ever mention that in his other self aggrandizing puff pieces he has written about his oh-so-special relationship. That would be like him mentioning his innate unlikeability. I worked with Emily's ex last year and he says it best, "They're scumbags." That guy won't even admit he was ever married to her. No one could figure why she left that stud to take up with this dud. Now these two have cursed the Earth with their progeny. How interesting it would be to witness a family discussion on morality. A REAL case of "YOU CAN'T TEACH WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW" if ever there was one. Did Webster REALLY go to Yale? It doesn't show here but, if he in fact did, it must be because SOMEBODY from Alaska had to get in there. Now I've heard that Schulman is teaching acting to kids that want to get into "the business". What a freaking nightmare, what a freaking joke. As if her life hasn't been enough of a cautionary tale about that horrible aspect of kids in the business, NOW she's going to actually help indoctrinate the innocents into following her into the downward spiral of her own life. She just like all stage mothers, only much, much worse. Check out the website of A Minor Consideration. That will, at least, tell you about all the good folks that are working against Schulman and her ilk.

Hey people! That's pretty mean what some of you said. Think about it! I mean at least she's been famous for a little bit. How long were you famous for? Yeah....most of you never were! If you knew her you would think she is great, just like I do!

Check out that beak on Schulman! Is she related to Bob Hope?

Webster is so funny. More of a woman than his wife, too! Too bad we don't hear from him anymore!

Well, good grief. I am SO sorry I stumbled on to this sad little website. I don't think I've ever witnessed such meanness in all of my 56 yrs. Unbelievable. Try this-put your energies into something positive. Like walk your dog. Shine your shoes. Do a good deed for someone. But PLEASE, this is just scary for the entire universe and you. You should be sent to your room.

she's not washed up... she did some roles and retire when she had to and followed other pursuits in life!!

washed up is more like those starts that refuse to let go

emily schulman on the other hand did her acting and quit and moved on.

that picture of her as a girl scout is cute..although yes, she isn't very pretty..but that doesn't really matter anyway..unless she wants to get into modeling or something.

Interesting to see what she looks like when she was older. Now if anyone ever knew what happened to jerry supiran.

I don't think she is washed up. She managed to get her life outside the screen. This is one of the happy ending story imo.

wow just because she pretended to be annoying on tv doesn't make her annoying in real life! In fact, I have a theory that to play someone so absurd, the actor has to have the opposite qualities in real life. Who could have played the annoying kid better? Where would Small Wonder and Troop Beverly Hills be without her character?

Anonymous said...

she looks hot to me

I loved watching the tv series Christy and emily plays ruby mae but on the show she looked really ugly but in real life its not that bad

She's got a great rack. Some of u guys are mean. Her boobs r cool and her face isn't they bad.

Anonymous said...

This has to be the rudest site I've ever come across. I mean, you're actually calling someone 'washed up' when they're still successful, aren't anywhere near drugs, and are living happily! And you call Emily ugly?! She's gorgeous! And look at her hair! It's simply divine - no one ever gets to see such hair anymore! She's always been a cutie and she's grown in to a fine woman. Perfect family.

... but you, sir, are an asshole, for writing what you did.

Anonymous said...

Wow, I didn't know I would learn how lucky this Emily person is for having such an amazing and elequent husband, just from googling Troop Beverly Hills after having a blast from the past watching it! Derek- what a great person you are (as I'm sure your wife is if she is married to you), and you tell a true tale about the world today. It seems as if every new generation that comes along does not have the slightest clue about how much the simple act of love can change things, and it breaks my heart over and over again. I hope you and your family can continue to spread love throughout your simple everyday actions, such as posting a meaningful comment on the most meaningless of websites, because a little love can always make a world of difference. Blessings, Dana G

I think she is really pretty. Just because she was annoying on the show doesn't mean she is the same in real life. Please understand that just because she (used to be) a celebrity, doesn't give the rest of us to bash her. And I honestly don't see anything wrong with how she looks.

I personally thought Emily was great in the Pixar movie "BRAVE".

Where are the pics , interviews, testimonies etc. of this "gorgeous" and "worldwide celebrated" blogger?

Would you give us an intelligent explanation on why we should buy your "inflated showbiz guru" final word on how success, lifestyle and beauty should be "judged"?

You sound way too judgmental and narrow minded for a gay person , which is appalling to other gay communities . You are misrepresenting us gay people and doing a disfavor to yourself as well

On the other hand i wouldn't be surprised that the real reason you invest your time in such a worthless and destructive pursuit were your need to forget how much you hate your self (the way you treat yourself = the way you'll treat humanity)

It's not even an issue of career success anymore, it 's now an issue of humanity, dignity, compassion, things that you seem to have no clue about...

Please, for God's sake, no more profile pics of these two.

I think Emily Schulman looks darling and I like her nice long red hair. She was very entertaining on the sitcom and I am happy that she is doing so well today.

Are you kidding me. She's beautiful! What do you want her to look like, boob job, plastered make-up and anorexic? Natural beauty if you ask me.

Emily Schulman us a horrible person. She'll tell any lie and break every promise. Derek Webster is a horrible person. He's a sneaky, chickenshit, liar. I've read just some of Webster's dribble here and what he says is utter and total bullshit. My family and friends also came into contact with this lying piece of shit he calls his wife now and she certainly did pretend to be something she could never be, an honest person. Emily's parents stole all the money she made as a child actor and maybe that turned her into the despicable person she is. I doubt it, lying the way she is capable of, is a natural trait for her. Webster turned out the way he is because he was raised by insects. Webster is the reverse of Kafka's "Metamorphosis", he started as a colossal vermin and, through some cruel trick of nature, managed to acquire human form. I gave Webster the righteous beating he deserved. He talks all his bullshit with a keyboard but when he had the opportunity to say something, anything, to me in person, he turned into the cockroach that he is, saying nothing and trying to run away. If you wonder who I am, you can ask Schulman or Webster, they know exactly who the fuck I am. I'm not going to get into that lying Suprian, that piece of shit rabbi or any of the other supporters of these two horrible people that I see on here. This is more than I've thought of these two assholes in a long time and more than I ever hope to again. I came to read this page because I lost a bet to a friend who had been telling me about it. Webster's garbage was as unbelievable to me as it was to him. If you don't like what I've had to say here, fuck off. Don't bother leaving a reply for me here. Come see me and say it to my face, something that wormy Webster didn't have the balls to do. Honor is about what you do when no one is looking. These two, this Schulman and Webster, don't have a molecule of honor between them.

I think she turned out quite lovely.I think she would do well in another Christy spinoff of the original show. All that beautiful red hair! She was one of my favorite characters in the series Christy.Someone here said she looks 10 years older than her actual 29 years.I beg to differ, she is just as beautiful as she was in the series and she has aged very gracefully.Still beautiful!!!

This "website" should be discontinued. To bully someone like this is so ridiculous. I know it is an old site, but Emily is and was an amazing person. I'm saddened that she never acts anymore. LOVED her in Christy! That's what brought me here, (sadly) I will search elsewhere now to find more enlightening news of her.

Netflix just added "Troop Beverly Hills" so I decided to look up the cast. I'm sad to say that this heartless piece of horrible writing (my eight year old is a better writer!) is one of the only things I found. I mean, I can't find anything in this "Article" that points to Emily Schulman being washed up what-so-ever. As far as I can tell from a handful of other websites, Emily is living a decent life on the East Coast with her husband and kids. What's so washed up about that? If that's the mold one has to fit to be considered "washed up" then I suppose I'm washed up too! What a bunch of awful people you are!

She finally ate the kid. Emily could never find enough food to cram into her lying mouth.

I have had the honor of knowing Emily in the past and I was actually thinking of her and ran across this post. I am shocked and appauled at the rude and hateful comments toward someone who most have not had the chance to know. She is a wonderful person with such a kind heart. She lights up a room when you meet her and her personality is contagious. I wish Emily and Derek and their beautiful family all the best.

I am a woman of 29 now, used to watch Small Wonder about 17-18 years ago.And I am not from USA,and got to watch the show only when it was on air in our country in the late 90's.Anyway,I miss watching small wonder so much so I have downloaded many episodes from you tube and keep watching them whenever I get time.I think Harriet was the cutest among all the 3 though I liked Jamie and Vicki too.But that's not the point.I wanted to have current information about her, searched Emily Schulman on google and hit this link. And yes,its extremely surprising and shocking to read all those comments-especially from people who were 'just' viewers like me,and didn't know her personally.I dont understand why people are relating her character in the show with the real Emily as a person? She's just a human like us and we all age, dont we?..So what's so unnatural about that? Why you are using all those words for her over here? By seeing Emily's pics over google images I can imagine that she is having a normal, happy and a healthy life with her kids.Thats all.No comments about her husband whom I dont know anything about. But I am sure he must be a nice person too.I wonder if the guy coming over here is actually her husband Derek,if yes, would want him to know that I really used to admire Harriet and her role in small wonder, and I wonder if you could please get in touch with me to have a healthy and a casual talk about Emily like how's she,,and if possible can she also chat with me someday? If she does that,it will be a dream come true for me Derek,so please...will you? Good luck and Thanks.Plz write back to me at my mail ID: simmikumari35@yahoo.co.in.

Watching small wonder on TV today. It's showing now pretty often on this retro station doing digital broadcast. It's not cable or satellite just regular old TV. So as a kid I was not a huge fan of the show just too corny and dry but as an adult watching it as a retro show it is very enjoyable. That being said when I grabbed my phone it was Emily who I looked up first. Im going to look up Jamie and Vicky next. Emily may have been annoying on small wonder but boy did she nail that part. And seeing her as a woman wow she may have been a goofy looking kid, not her fault they styled her hair like that on the show, but she grew in to a lovely and beautiful woman. Hope all is well in her life. Peace n Love

I thought Emily Schulman looked darling as Harriet Brindle, and I love that gorgeous long red hair. I felt she brought off the part most convincingly and I found her most entertaining. Looking at her today, I still think she looks great and she still has gorgeous long red hair. I saw her in something and she still hasn't lost her touch as a great actress. I'm also glad to learn that she and her husband are doing so well.
